Dr. Neelam Sharma LASIK Surgeon

Dr. Neelam Sharma

Cornea & Refractive Specialist

Specializing in topography-guided laser ablation and complex refractive errors, Dr. Neelam Sharma customizes every LASIK procedure to the unique microscopic elevation map of your cornea. Her mastery of both Femtosecond and Excimer platforms ensures surgical outcomes that frequently surpass 20/20 vision.

Your Path to Visual Freedom

We do not offer "one-size-fits-all" LASIK. We utilize a rigorous, data-driven approach to select the absolute safest technology for your unique eyes.

1

The 22,000 Point Scan

We capture a high-definition 3D topographic map of your cornea to measure exact thickness and detect microscopic irregularities.

2

Clinical Customization

Dr. Neelam analyzes your data and lifestyle to recommend the perfect procedure (Contoura, SMILE, or ICL).

3

The 15-Minute Procedure

Under completely painless, numbing eye drops, the advanced laser corrects your vision in a matter of seconds.

4

Immediate Clarity

Wake up the next morning with restored vision, ready to return to work, driving, and your active life.

Laser Vision Correction

Contoura Vision LASIK

Contoura Vision (Topo-Guided)

The pinnacle of laser precision. Contoura maps 22,000 unique elevation points on your cornea to create a highly personalized laser profile, reducing glare and halos.

Best For: Patients seeking high-definition, eagle-eye vision.

SMILE Flapless LASIK

SMILE Pro (Flapless)

The 3rd generation of laser surgery. A 100% flapless procedure that corrects vision through a microscopic 2mm keyhole, preserving corneal strength and reducing dry eye.

Best For: Athletes, military, and patients prone to dry eyes.

ICL Surgery

ICL (Implantable Lenses)

For extreme prescriptions that a laser cannot safely treat. A microscopic, bio-compatible lens is implanted behind the iris, acting like a permanent contact lens.

Best For: Very high prescriptions (-10.00+) or thin corneas.

The Refractive Technology Suite

Safety and precision are dictated by the quality of the laser. We house the most advanced refractive platforms in the world.

Femtosecond Laser

The foundation of bladeless surgery. This infrared laser operates at incredibly high speeds to create perfect corneal flaps (for LASIK) or microscopic lenticules (for SMILE) without ever using a mechanical blade.

Excimer Laser

The sculptor. Using a cool ultraviolet beam, this laser gently vaporizes microscopic amounts of corneal tissue to permanently correct your prescription. It is equipped with advanced eye-tracking technology.

Corneal Topographer (Pentacam)

The ultimate diagnostic tool. It maps the front and back surfaces of your cornea, calculating its exact thickness and detecting hidden irregularities, ensuring you are a safe candidate before surgery begins.

Patient
Questions.

Clinical clarity regarding candidacy, recovery, and the lifetime value of laser vision correction.

No. The procedure is entirely painless. We use powerful anesthetic eye drops to numb the eye completely before starting. You may feel a slight pressure sensation for a few seconds during the laser alignment, but absolutely no sharp pain.

Most adults over 18 with a stable prescription for at least a year are good candidates. However, a comprehensive Pentacam topography scan is strictly required to ensure your corneas are thick and healthy enough to safely undergo the laser reshaping.

If your cornea is too thin for traditional LASIK or Contoura, you are not out of options. We offer excellent alternatives like PRK (Surface Ablation) or ICL (Implantable Collamer Lenses), which do not require creating a corneal flap and safely preserve your natural tissue.

Visual recovery is incredibly fast for SMILE, Bladeless LASIK, and Contoura. Most patients notice a dramatic improvement immediately upon sitting up and can safely return to work, driving, and using screens within 24 to 48 hours.

Laser vision correction permanently reshapes the cornea, so the correction of your current prescription is permanent. However, it does not prevent presbyopia (the natural stiffening of the lens inside your eye that causes the need for reading glasses when you reach your mid-40s).
