Grassroots Vision Care.
Protecting the sight of tomorrow's leaders through free educational and clinical eye screening camps across Jaipur.
Vision is a Right, Not a Privilege.
At Prasan Nethralaya, our commitment to ophthalmic excellence extends far beyond the sterile walls of our operation theaters. We actively conduct comprehensive, free-of-cost eye screening camps across schools, playgroups, and community centers in Rajasthan.
By focusing on early detection in children, our primary directors—Dr. Jaideep Sharma and Dr. Neelam Sharma—aim to prevent long-term refractive anomalies, ensuring that every child has the visual clarity needed to excel in their education and life.
The Prasan Screening Framework
We do not just check vision charts; we deploy our trained clinical teams with advanced, portable diagnostic equipment to provide a true medical evaluation.
Refractive Screening
Using auto-refractometers to accurately detect myopia, hyperopia, and astigmatism, ensuring children are not struggling to see the whiteboard.
Anterior Segment Check
Evaluating the health of the cornea and conjunctiva to detect severe dry eye, allergies, or early signs of keratoconus.
Digital Fatigue Education
Educating students and teachers on the 20-20-20 rule and proper ergonomics to combat the rising epidemic of screen-induced eye strain.
Camps in Action
From interactive educational sessions to precision clinical screenings, our teams bring hospital-grade care directly to the community.
Honored by Top Institutions.
We are profoundly humbled by the letters of gratitude and awards received from leading educational institutions and community organizations for our dedication to public welfare.

Camp Organization & Logistics
Common questions from schools and NGOs looking to partner with Prasan Nethralaya.
Does the school have to pay for the screening camp?
No. Our educational and standard pediatric screening camps are conducted entirely free of cost as part of our core CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) initiative to protect the vision of Jaipur's youth.
What logistics does the host institution need to provide?
We handle all clinical equipment and staffing. We simply require a well-lit, adequately sized room (such as a hall, library, or large classroom), a few tables/chairs for our diagnostic machines, and basic crowd management support from your staff.
Do you prescribe glasses at the camp?
We provide a comprehensive diagnostic report card for every child screened. If a refractive error is detected, we will advise the parents on the required prescription. Complex cases requiring dilation or surgery are referred to our main hospital for further evaluation.
